I'm a retired Hair Salon owner, stylist.
I got my real estate license in California in 1986 in Fresno. Living in Bass Lake, near Yosemite, I sold a couple houses, then decided I liked land and ranches better. I was the top listing agent in my office in Oakhurst, having 17 of our 25 listings. I moved to Fresno and started in Business Brokerage. I then acquired a designation in Business Opportunity Appraisals, valid in all 50 states. I sold a few businesses in Fresno, and referred out any leads on residential.
Moving to Minnesota in 1991, I set up my Real Estate office and specialized in Business Brokerage. My first sale was the listing of the Vice President of the largest and oldest business brokerage in Minneapolis. He invited me to come on the Business Brokers Board that was established fifty years prior as the first female to take a seat.
Later, I closed my office and joined Coldwell Banker as their only Business Broker until I had a devesting car accident in 1997. wherein I was disabled for almost two years.
When I was able to work again, I did appraisals for a couple years along with purchasing another hair salon to return to my first love.
My Mother passed away in 2008 in California, and I traveled back there to sell her home and settle her affairs. I read a book on how to sell your home in five days, and that's l how met a Cashflow Depot investor who came to the open house. He told me all about Jack Miler and I've been a member since then.
