William Weller

I am very saddened to learn about the passing of this great man. He meant so much to me in my life, and it has been such an honor and a privilege to have known him. The good he has done for so many people, and for so many years, is beyond evaluation.

His knowledge, teaching and writing are truly unmatched, but the greatest benefit to me has been the extraordinary example he has set for all of us in the way he conducted his life. He opened my mind to possibilities that I could never have imagined without his inspiration. I never met anyone like him before. I cannot believe that there will ever be anyone quite like him ever again.

We are all so fortunate to have had him for the time we did, and I count myself lucky for having the great good fortune to have met him so many years ago. Still, I wish we had just a little more time with him.

I expect that he is with Dee Dee now, and he is happy. You had one heluva great run, Jack Baby! Thanks for allowing us to tag along for so much of it!
