  • Hi Jackie,

Just an FYI, I went to “askrobertking.com” and his ALU website to sign up for his seminar and when I called DoubleTree (it was the correct hotel that he has listed on his site), the hotel is completely booked for the seminar days, there were no blocks for people signing up for the seminar and they said he was not listed there as a guest and nothing about ALU. Maybe I am missing something…
Is there anyway you can check into this?

    Thanks, Cookie

God Bless you Jackie and your husband/family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

    Hi Jackie,

I see that this is an old post and I am fairly new to CFD, However, I am very interested in doing a joint venture with you. I live in NY, my concentrated area’s are Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens. I would work on anything in the tri-state area. I have done 1 HBS and I am currently working on sealing the deal with my second. Please let me know if you are still looking to JV.

    Thanks so much,
    Cookie

    Hi Jackie,

Did anyone buy the 60,000 oceanfront home?

    Thanks,

    Hi Jackie,

I have a few more questions. All of our bids were cash offers, how do we get retail buyers to put bids in and know that they are legit? Also, what if they needed time to get pre-approved? How does this work if the house is to be sold Sunday night? Are most of your deals cash?

    Thanks,
    Cookie

I hope someone can help me…I did my first HBS open house this weekend. It went really well considering we got 50 people coming through the door. We did get six bidders unfortunately, we fell pretty short of what the owner wanted. We do know and understand our mistakes and will rectify them at the next sale.
My question is this…there are a lot RE agents/brokers (most are very pushy) that pass through the open house and call my number, they think I am the actual owner. When I tell them that I am not, they are still very aggressive. Is there a certain way to handle them or should I write something on my flyer, blog or website that states something otherwise? I hope this question makes sense and I can get some kind of help…thanks!

    Hi,
I was just on the HBS call with Ayesha. I too believe that 2 heads are better than one, however i commend you for getting out there and doing it on your own. Great tenacity and drive!! Congratulations Ayesha. I am about to do my first one this weekend in NY. Luckily I am working with someone who has a lot of knowledge about the real estate world, but this is his 1st one too. I do have a few questions:
    1. When did you start advertising the property prior to open house?
    2. What are some ways to find sellers? I know your first was word of mouth and you would drive for dollars, any other ways?
    3. How low should you start your sale price? Is there an average percentage to the FMV? ie: say the house is worth 510,000

    Thanks!
    Cookie
