  • I just posted the conference call about adverse possession in the Conference Call section. Sorry, I forgot to post it sooner.

    Here’s an interesting ABC news video about a case in Boca Raton – http://abcnews.go.com/2020/video/adverse-possession-squatting-boca-raton-18945783 – it got attention because it was an expensive place and the neighbors were alarmed.

    in this case, the property was bank owned, not what Jackie has been talking about.

    You absolutely do NOT want to adverse posses a property which is bank owned or one that has a mortgage of any kind.

    It needs to be free and clear of all mortgages. It can have liens but no mortgages.

    It is important to get a professional title seach on the property before you proceed. I would not rely on doing your own title search at the court house when you are considering an adverse possession.
