    Hi, I was on the call with Jack Miller and heard him say that Shortsales were not being approved as of 10/1/08, but I don’t recall him mentioning why?

    Has the status changed relative to shortsales? Has anyone gotten one approved since October?

    Socialist bailout by the government. Of course, the banks aren’t actually using the bailout money to give loans, they are just keeping it for reserves. And to pay the upper management–they can’t go a month without a new Cadillac now can they?

    Anna,

    Why should the banks short the loan if they can get the government to bail them out by buying the note.
