I got a call from a tenant that there was a huge water leak outside the house
they city had to turn of the main water valve to the house

Called 2 plubmers this am to go check it out and bid the job

The first one said I needed to replace the whole valve box and all valves because they were
rusted — $1263 ( the house is only 15 years old

The 2nd plumber said someone turned on the bleeder valve and he turned it off.then he turned the
main water valve back on to the house. All fixed. No charge — he was in the neighborhood anyway

Always get more than one bid for your jobs!
