Another interesting observation was made by a commenter on another website where that article was reprinted. S/he wrote that virtually all of those cities had strong concentrations of STEM type work (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). Hmmmm..

Now, if only the schools were stronger in those topics.

Kids who move to Panama from the USA are way behind in math and science and often have to be put back a grade to catch up with the local kids at international schools.
