Code enforcement and zoning is really cracking down on signs placed in public areas.
Sings signs are the MOST IMPORTANT element of a successful Highest Bidder Sale, this is what you can do:
1. Place signs on PRIVATE property ( with the owners permission of course) – then zoning can’t touch them
2. mount the signs on 4 – 5′ stakes.
3. run an ad on craigslist to hire people to stand at strategic locations to HOLD the sign/stake during the open house. Would be a good idea for them to have flyers to hand out too for people who ask.
4. Use banners and or magnetic signs attached to your car/truck placed in good locations to drive traffic. The more cars the better.
