Last Friday I collected a non-refundable security deposit for a new tenant. They signed the lease and were gong to pay rent and move in on the 15th.
Today they call and say they don’t have the $925 BUT can they move in now and pay this weekend.
Well – NO!!!!!
So I marked them off the list.
The stupid thing I did was get at least 50 phone calls last weekend about the property and tell everyone of those people that the house was already rented.
Now I have to start all over again.
This wanting to be at the lake every weekend is clouding my judgment on things back in Dallas.
I’m going back to Dallas on Sunday night and I told myself that I can’t come back to the lake until I get that house rented.
