    my client has become disabled at youngish age (55)….she will receive $780/month from government….plus medicaid, and food stamps….
    she is wondering where in usa is least expensive place to live that is as nice as possible given her low budget…..
    she wants to pay as low a monthly rent or house payments as possible so she can save money. Will consider sharing w/a roomate..

    can anyone suggest a place?

    she is adventurous and open-minded and enjoys meeting new pple….

    she will consider any thing..is an artist and loves music;
    usually likes some culture; but will live w/o it if necessary.

    your generalities stated make me think she should look for a smaller town that has a college/university to fulfill both the lower costs and artsy/cultural desires of what you suggest.

    Oklahoma and Arkansas would fill the bill.
