i guess you could let those formers have options on the new house to ‘secure their interests’
then the new guy can purchase those options from the formers at closing

    Hi All:

I am putting in an offer to acquire an option to buy a home which I will sell 1/2 interest in to an owner occupant client of mine…he will pay me an option fee to acquire an option for a lease option…..

I want to have part of the option fee he pays me to be paid to 2 different former partners of mine who I verbally owe some funds to…..

Is there a way I can structure this so that this occurs correctly ? (Ie to make sure the escrow company can pay the funds out to the two former partners from the option fee my buyer pays to acquire his 1/2 interest ….I DO NOT want to pay them from my own fee; I definitely want them to be paid from my buyer, if at all possible. Do I need to have a paper trail: ie sell my former partners an option on MY option….or is there some other way to do this more easily/cleanly?)

    Thk you!!!
    D
