  • Prior to looking at a larger multi-family property, the Real Estate Companies want me to sign an agreement that I will not (among other things) enter into an agreement with the seller within 120 days of the expiration of our “agreement”. Should I just tell them that I am not signing it and if they are unable to show me the property or get me the financials, I will be moving on?

Just a business decision. I hate all the red tape with Realtors. I try to avoid them. If the 120 days is the only draw back I would not have a problem.
Just to stirr the pot, I would tell them I am not signing anything but an offer and see what they say.

Thanks for the feedback Don. I get that they don’t want me making a deal with the seller “without” them and that the seller doesn’t want their financials released carelessly. It may be that it just bugs me to be under contract with an RE agency. Thanks again.
