This shift to being a renter has been going on since the last major real estate crash in 2007/2008. Some people got burned so bad they swore that they would never own a home again.

This article illustrates why it is important to own rentals and/or master lease rentals. Some towns have more tenants than homeowners. This is a huge opportunity for those who know how to manage properties (and tenants)!

It’s also an indication why fixing and flipping to sell to retail buyers is going to die. Wholesaling to landlords who want to own more rentals is where the action is in many markets. Selling with a Highest Bidder Sale to landlords who want to acquire rentals is a huge opportunity too.
