I missed the Tuesday night conference call because I needed to drive 2 hours in to Dallas to get MEAN with my tenant and file an eviction.
The constable showed up at the house today.
None of my tenants know that I own the house. They think I’m just the property manager. I showed up and told him I was going to lose my job and would not be able to make my mortgage payment is he didn’t pay his rent. I told him the “owner” is so mad they are ready to throw you and your pregnant wife out on the street. They’ve done it before and they will do it this time if he does not pay ASAP
It worked! I had all my money by 5 pm.
This guy has a tree trimming company. There has been a lot of snow and a lot of trees down and damaged so there’s no excuse for him not paying.
You’ve got to get MEAN with tenants sometimes.
