With just a little effort anyone can With just a little effort anyone can get leads coming in for their real estate business. Just sticking signs at corners or sending letters to owners or talking to a few realtors. Your phone will ring! But then what?

But what good does it do to get a lot of leads coming in if you are not sure what to do with them or how to spot a good deal vs. a bad deal?

If you’ve been properly educated in all the ways to put deals together, you’ll know in a split second, and before you ever drive out to the house, if there is an opportunity to make money and if you should spend time working on the lead.

If you have not been educated in all the different ways to put a deal together, and how to evaluate market values, then you could waste countless hours working a lead that was never a deal to begin with.

The result is that you get frustrated after a few times and determine that this real estate stuff just does not work. You begin to feel like you are spinning your wheels and getting no where fast.

     Does that sound familiar?

The reality is that many of those leads you get could have been turned in to great money making deal, but you just did not know how to put it together. There is opportunity all around you, but you have to be educated to know how to spot it and how to make it work.

Just think about all the money that you could have made if you just understood how to structure deals better.

The solution is getting a good education.

But how do you know what to study or who to listen to with so many “gurus” out their pitching their courses and seminars?

First, you need to BEWARE of most of the free online newsgroup. Many of these newsgroups are basically the blind leading the blind. Sure, there’s an occasional piece of good information – but it is rare. The scary part is that much of the information is bad. And some of it is information that could get you in legal trouble.

Before you start spending money on courses or seminars, you really need to determine what it is that you need to accomplish with your real estate business. Don’t get side-tracked into going to a seminar just because a guru is coming to your town. It may not be a good fit for what you want to do.

Many of the very best seminars and home study courses are taught by active investors who contribute articles to this magazine. Check out their bio area for more information about their newsletters, seminars, books and courses. You’ll find that their information is the most accurate and affordable you can find. You don’t need to spend thousands and thousands of dollars for a seminar. There are many $500 seminars with a much higher quality and quantity of information than you would ever find at the high priced seminars.

The people who contribute articles to Creative Real Estate Magazine are the “real deal”. Jack Miller, Scott Britton, Charles Parrish and all the others all know something that you need to learn… and the sooner you learn it, the better.

Your success at turning those leads into money making deals all depends on the quality of education you get. Your search for a quality education just does not get any better than the folks who contribute articles to Creative Real Estate Magazine.

I’ve had new investors tell me about leads they got but said that they just didn’t know how to put the deal together. They lost out on $30,000, $50,000 or more just because they did not take the time to learn how to run a real estate business. Their “ignorance” cost them big time!

Don’t let that happen to you!

I’ve been buying, selling and renting houses for 11 years and I still go to several seminars each year. When I go, I always run in to investors who have been in the business many more years than me, yet they are still going to learn more. You can never learn too much. And you should never stop learning.

Besides the education you gain at these seminars, you’ll meet people you can call for help when you get a lead and you’re not sure what to do with it. The networking and contacts you make at a “good” seminar are almost as valuable as the education itself.

You may have heard the expression, “if you think education is expensive, you need to try ignorance.” This is so true. Make a commitment today to sign up for a seminar or buy a home study course offered by one of the excellent educators who contribute articles to Center for Real Estate Wealth
