We’ve never done one. I’ve had several friends host one over the past few years. None were successful.

Hey John! I’ve never done one. I read about them in Jackie Langs book and they really piqued my interest. She definitely seemed to know what she was doing and had a lot of success with HBS. Would be interested in trying it one day but definitely would want to be highly prepared especially with Bill’s comment here.

Bryant, please know I’m not an expert on the whole auction thing…though I’ve sold a number of our properties at the Bartow County foreclosure auction in Cartersville, GA.

That said, Jackie, and her course is on this site, has done a lot of this.

Of the 2 highest bid sales I did,,the 1st one made my church approx 30,000 more than all previous offers.
The 2nd one was unsuccessful, probably due to it being in a small town of 3,000 and bad timing.

I have 50 custom made yard signs , along with a custom website, I wont be using (retired and downsizing).
