  • A lead from Tax Deed Sale list. Sale date will be August 20. Title is in Grandma’s Estate and grandma died in 2000.

This grandson moved in and started paying taxes since 2000. There is no paper to prove he has the right to do anything about the house.

Is there any way anyone can think about to get a valid deed before the sale date?

    Thank

Sure — the title company can help you get heirship affidavits so the grandson can get clear title.

An Heirship affidavit are 3-4 people who knew Grandma who would swear that Grandma would have wanted the grandson to have the property.

The title company will prepare the docs once the Grandson provides the names of the 3 people

they sign and get notarized and that’s it… Deed problem solved
