Can't find Title Companies

    I’m having a little trouble finding title companies where I live in Charleston, SC. Wondering if there’s a particular name that they go by that helps in searching them out. Mostly I’m running into title LOAN companies whose only service is to issue loans. Any thoughts on this?

    David, I did a Google search for ‘Charleston South Carolina Abstract Companies’ and came up with quite a few of them. That should solve your problem.

    in some areas they are called escrow offices.

    All those plus in some areas attorney’s almost exclusively write title insurance. Most under Attorneys Title and Abstract.
