    I’ve just acquired a code violation list from a local county. Completely free, but not the easiest thing to read since they didn’t save it off too well. But am pretty excited to look through it!

    Is there a technique to scrub through these lists?

    Do I score addresses that have multiple violations higher?

    Do I score a certain type of violation higher?

    Any insight would be appreciated!

    I guess the other question is what do you say to these people when you send them a mailing or postcard?

    For foreclosures, I’ve been saying, “I’m concerned about the situation with your house. Let me know if you need my help.”

    I was thinking there might be some pat thing to say to a code violator.
