My son, his wife and I are wanted to start in Real Estate investing together. I’m in Colorado while he and his wife are on the east coast. They live in New York City. Is it possible to take the concepts from Flip Deals ebook and make them work in New York City or should we go to a suburb out side the city? If it is possible how would we attempt to start?

Congratulations on getting your son involved in real estate investing too.
Honestly, I don’t know the New York City real estate market but I would imagine that there are parts of New York City where wholesaling would work. The key to success would be finding old, run down houses that you can get under contract way below market then sell to rehabbers for more. If there are old run down houses, apartments or other properties, then it will work there.
