As Jack Miller told us 10 years ago, people will be moving to states with no or low income taxes. Texas and Florida have no state income taxes.
And people will move to warmer states as they are getting fed up with the cold weather and the increasing expense of keeping a house warm in the winter months which are long and brutal up north.
Surprisingly, this article does not mention the migration to states like Colorado where “mary jane” has been legalized. But now, many other states are legalizing the sale for medical and recreations use because the tax revenue is so high.
Texas is consistently the best place to go for good paying jobs jobs jobs – and will continue to attract people for that reason.
