I flew from Texas to Panama yesterday. Many people at the airports and on the plane were wearing masks. And just before we landed in Panama, the flight attendant handed out health forms that had to be completed to identify if you had been in a country or state where a confirmed case of the virus has been. You had to list our phone numbers and where you are going in Panama, just in case they need to reach you because of a link to the virus.
Panama has no cases but they have already set up a special containment area at some hospitals where anyone with the virus will be taken. I’m glad Panama is taking is seriously and being proactive. .
