HBS on a rental property

    I just finished listening to the conference call recording with Melissa and Jackie on HBS’s and it was great. It sounded like Melissa did an HBS on a property with some ornery tenants in it by just having about an hour showing on a Saturday morning so as not to disturb the tenants too much.

    I was wondering if that is the best way to handle a HBS on a rental property that has tenants in it? I have potentially two landlords who might be willing to do the HBS but they think it would not work to show the property to lots of people for several hours each day on a weekend with the tenants in there.

    Any thoughts on how to get around this?

    I have never done it but a bribe might work. Gift certificate for a great lunch Sat. and Sun. Also cash is always good.. Let see what others come up with. Just some thoughts.

    I have done an HBS or a Magic Bus with tenant occupied properties many times.

    You dohn’t want to have an all day open house – two days

    but you can do a 2 hours open house. It works! Go for it
