I am considering buying a property to develop an rv park (if I cannot find one to purchase). What is the best way to safely acquire a property before you can get a zoning exception for this type of business? A short term lease option? Thanks.
It would be much easier to buy an existing RV park. I’ve read that it is difficult to get zoning for a new park.
You can certainly get just an option or even a lease option on an RV park too. The key is to find a motivated seller which would mean that the park may have some deferred maintenance. But you can turn that around.
