Hello.
My name is Rami Friedman. I joined my local REIA last month and have set a goal to acquire at least one more single family house in my target area of central New Jersey for each of the next five years.
I do own two two-family properties which I bought with traditional owner occupant financing along with the single family house I now occupy. So I have a little bit of experience as a landlord and rehabbing.
However, I am starting to see that there is much to learn in order to see how to turn peoples’ problems/challenges into opportunities to help one another.
I am an optometrist, and I own my own office. I am thinking that maybe instead of knocking on doors (or maybe in addition to knocking on doors) I could plant seeds in my patients’ minds that if they ever knew anyone who needed to sell a house they should reach out to me.
Do any of you farm for opportunities at your places of work?
Thanks.
