When I do postcard marketing, I always create a very targeted mailing list and a very targeted messge to match that market
A good example are two story houses with an over 65 exemption. It it has a pool even better.
Some people over 65 just don’t want to go up and down stairs anymore. So it is time to get rid of the two story house. They also want to reduce the amount of yard work so a pool needs to go too.
Your postcard could say something like
Sick and Tired Of Going Up and Down Stairs
or
Imagine a Life Without Stairs.What else can you think of?
If you have other properties, these sellers are ideal candidates for trading their two story house for your single family house. Or they may trade their two story house for two of your single family houses — live in one then get income from one.
Baby Boomes are also concerned with additional income so a discussion about how they can turn their house in to a monthly income stream is usually successful.
