    My name is Edvin Pipiras. I’m a full time lieutenant at a Chicago suburban fire department. I’m looking to build my rental portfolio. Currently I own two properties. I have one rental condo unit in a separate town. The condo needed some work and I was able to perform 99% of the labor myself. If anyone can recommend a reliable and fair private lender I would highly appreciated it. I’m looking for $300,000 to $400,000….. for purchase and rehab.

    Edvin,

    There should be several REIA (real estate investor associations) in your area along with many Meetup meeting of real estate investors. You will find investor/lenders in these groups.

    Hi Edvin,
    I agree with Bill. Private investors are a wonderful way to put deals together. I live in Illinois. There is more investors and money then there are great deals. Make the effort to make the contacts.
