I’m back in the US for a few weeks. Real estate markets are red hot in many major metro areas. The day a house goes on the market, it gets multiple offers often for over asking price. This makes it almost impossible to get a good deal or buy with creative real estate strategies. Even mobile homes are crazy high prices close the urban areas!
So, what’s an investor to do? Go about 1 hour away from the urban areas to find good opportunities. That’s still within commuting distance for tenants or buyers. That’s where you can find motivated sellers too.
