    there are 15 different visa programs. the retiree or pensionado visa is popular but a better visa now is the friendly nation visa which allow you have a business or work in Panama AND you can get a Panama passport after 5 years.

    also, if you qualify by age, 55 for women and 60 for men, you still get all the pensionado discounts regardless of which visa you get, these include:
