Hi Patti: I realize the importance of the settlement agent. Is it important that the settlement attends the open house? Or that they are available once a buyer is announced? Or both? I am reaching out to realtors that I personally know that are not being helpful in that area because of what I am doing. I feel I will have to cold call some institutions this week to get one.
If you are referring to the mortgage broker, or a mortgage broker’s agent, then it is a good idea to have them attend the Open House. Tell them it will provide them free advertising, and exposure to people that may become their clients.
