I’m buying a house through a short sale. However, owner is threatening to stay in the house after closing because she wanted to do a lease option with me to let her stay and I refused and is forcing me to evict her. Isn’t it true that in the short sale package borrower has to sign a document that they will be out of the house at closing. Shouldn’t the listing agent read her the riot act on this maneuver.
Also isn’t she jeopardizing the short sale going through. Anyone have any experience with this?
