This is a great example of finding something for sale that no one else is looking for. Getting an option, then doing a nationwide marketing campaign with ONLINE bidding could have fetched a higher price and a SIX figure profit for doing a Highest Bidder Sale!
Go where the competition is not going!
I attended auctioneering school, not be become an autioneer, but to learn how they find these kind of deals and how they get a lot of people to come bid.
That training lead me to an 18,000 acre ranch in south texas. It had a house and a bunk house and lots of precious minerals…. and rattlesnakes too. Would your competition go after a deal like this? Heck no! But you could. When you use an OPTION, it makes the deal as risk free as possible. All you have to lose is your time if the deal does not work out. But the profits can be HUGE when it does all come together. And the experience is priceless!
Would you take on a whole 27 acre town with a mobile home park? Absolutely!
Look for the opportunities that no one else is looking for. You’ll do more deals and make a lot more money.
