Time to Sell?

    I’m planning to sell a few more rental properties which are a few blocks apart. Houses in that area are selling in 3-5 days usually with multiple offers and more than the listing price.

    Rents are great. The houses are paid for.

    But when the market is that crazy it is time to sell. Besides, I’m living in another country 3000 miles away and I think it is time to take the chips off the table.

    I plan to do an IRC 351 to move the money to Panama tax free. ( similar to a IRC1031 but for domestic to foreign transfers). I can retain the earnings tax free on my Panama corporation until I have time to find land then build rental properties in Panama.

    Looking at rental prices on craigslist, I don’t know how most people can afford to rent a house. Rent prices are going through the roof

    Sell em! If they’re already in land trusts, exchange for gold! In Panama and the rest of the world…. They understand the precious metals business…. go figure?
